Audit and overview

SPC Provides an overview of actions take by operators and can display an overview which can who performed actions on both the SPC connect and remote SPC systems.

The Audit Trail page

To display the Audit Trail page, click Company > Audit Trail in the site navigation.

By default:

  • Only installers with the Company Manager profile can see the audit trail, but access can be granted to other installers by creating an installer profile with audit trail access and assigning that profile to those installers.
  • Audit information is kept for 30 days, but this can be modified per installation.

The Audit Trail page shows the following information for company-related events:

Audit Date The date and time of the event
Username The name of the installer who performed the action.
Group Action The audit group name, and the action name in brackets. For Login actions, the client IP address is displayed.
Description The audit description.
For Username The name of the user the action was taken against, where applicable.
Panel Registration ID The registration ID of the panel the action was taken against, where applicable.
Installer Profile Name The name of the installer profile the action was taken against, where applicable.
Panel Group Name The name of the panel group the action was taken against, where applicable.
For Panel User Name The name of the panel user the action was taken against, where applicable.
For Panel User Email The email address of the panel user the action was taken against, where applicable.

To filter the list for specific events, enter/select criteria at the top of the page then click Find.
