The walk test for the user will only test zones that do not trigger alarms, so no 24hr or panic zones can be tested these must be tested by the installer.<\/p>\n<p>The walk test will signal when each zone is tested, and you can configure to be notified by<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keypad<\/li>\n<li>External Bells<\/li>\n<li>Internal Bells<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may also choose the area you wish to test and users will only be allowed to test the areas they have access to.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-10772-2\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"siteorigin-panels-stretch panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-10772-2\" data-stretch-type=\"full-stretched-padded\" ><div id=\"pgc-10772-2-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-10772-2-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"3\" ><div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"><h3 class=\"widget-title\">Zone monitor<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>This functionality is available in the web Brower and via the keypad. Each zone has an individual log which you can use to examine the zone but on the keypad using the monitor function will allow for live status of the zone. This is only available to an installer.<\/p>\n<p>Once a zone is selected it will show the zone location, device it is connected , its status and its current EOL reading. The zone monitor can show a number of status for each zone these include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Closed \u2013 Normal state<\/li>\n<li>Open \u2013 Active state<\/li>\n<li>Discon \u2013 Disconnect infinite resistance - zone is disconnected<\/li>\n<li>Short \u2013 0 resistance<\/li>\n<li>DC SUB \u2013The SPC monitor all zone and this includes for interference, if an attempt is made to replace an input with an external source the SPC will identify this by analysing the voltage on the system.<\/li>\n<li>MASKED \u2013 PIR state for PIR with masking detection, the detector has detected that its field of view is blocked<\/li>\n<li>Fault \u2013 PIR State for PIRs with fault detection such as PDM-Magic detectors, this is an internal fault as the detector is running self-tests to ensure operation.
